Perspective of a Current Applicant: Why Take Part in this Course?
Tell us why you would like to participate in this program:I feel that despite residency and 6 years of clinical practice, despite much reading and many hours of CME I do not have adequate knowledge in the area of social-emotional problems and not the best handle how to treat such patients and the best way to refer. My goal would be to learn how to listen to the patient in a more delicate way, to learn how to say things in a more sensitive way, and to become a more complete pediatrician. In this age of pediatrics where we are seeing less infectious organic causes of illness and more and more behavior and psycho-social issues I want to be prepared for now and the future.
